It's probably safe to say that not much thought goes into hitting play on a YouTube video. No offense intended, but most of us probably do it multiple times a day as we scroll through our feed and click on content that catches our eye. It's easy. And mindless.
We start with the first interesting video that we see in our feed, and five hours later we are deep into a video on how a giraffe should wear a necktie.
Welcome to the YouTube rabbit hole (which is obviously taken from the weirdly trippy Alice In Wonderland).
But sometimes, as we tumble down that procrastination-inducing rabbit hole, we find content that actually speaks to us.
Or, at the very least, the answer to life's most pressing question: what happens when a hydraulic press crushes a bowling ball.
For us to compete with hydraulically crushed balls, flying pixel cats, and corporations spending millions to fail miserably, we need your help. Plus, if we happen to end up in the YouTube Hall of Shame, we can just blame you, our student ambassadors.
Just kidding. We will blame our video editor Rob.
